Black and White Dots Illusion

The illusion is known as the scintillating grid, and was discovered by E. Lingelbach in 1994. The black dots appears to move around & vanish as you move your eyes across the picture, less dots appear if you focus on a singular point.Check more these types of illusions here

Scintillating illusion

Move your eyes around this image. You probably see blue dots quickly appear and disappear at the intersections. But if you look directly at an intersection, the dot disappears.
This is called a scintillating illusion , which means that the image appears to twinkle. Located in the back of the inner eye, the retina receives light through your eye's lens. Scientists think the "ghost dots" may occur because of how certain nerve cells, called neurons, in your retina relate to each other when they receive signals from dark and light areas.

Glowing bars illusion

Shift your gaze around this brilliant picture... You may see ghost discs glowing at the intersection points of the bars while clear bright spots pop up in their middle...It looks like there are infinite Neon colour dots giving scintillating grid effect.

Musical Disk

Illusory black dots abruptly appear or disappear in white circles when we see the figure freely (= the scintillation grid illusion*1). On the other hand, the white circles disappear when we fixate at the center (the vanishing disk illusion*2,*3).
