The ink’s density in the left figure makes it appear larger than the right, when in fact they’re the same size. From a German/French magazine. Translated:

When you lay the figures next to each other in the same direction it appears that the one in front is bigger. Both are really the same size. Cut out these figures.

Actually the text is not German and French, but Dutch and French, which means this is probably from a Belgium magazine, as they speak both Dutch and French over there :)

Nonetheless it's a cool illusion!
