Bill Nye's Illusion Show

Bill Nye the Science Guy is an Emmy Award-winning educational television program, hosted by Bill Nye. It was originally broadcast on PBS from September 10, 1993 until October 3, 1997. Then after cancellation, aired reruns until February 5, 1999. Reruns later popped up on Nickelodeon's Noggin channel and aired there until 2002. The show also aired in syndication for a brief time. Each of the 100 episodes aim to teach a specific topic in science to a preteen audience. The show is frequently used in schools. KCTS of Seattle and Disney-ABC Domestic Television produced the show. The show ran about the same time and covered similar topics to Beakman's World.

Melting Building Mural

Trompe-l’oeil is an art technique involving extremely realistic imagery in order to create the optical illusion that the depicted objects really exist, instead of being just two-dimensional paintings. The name is derived from French for “trick the eye”, from tromper - to deceive and l’oeil - the eye.
