Its a new corporate head office for the Gas Natural Group in the district of La Barceloneta,Spain.This enabled the company to return to its original location, built in the same place where the first gasworks were built in Spain 160 years ago. Designed by the prestigious Barcelona architects Enric Miralles and Benedetta Tagliabue,the project is characterised by a spectacular 20-storey glass tower which, given its sinuous, modern architecture has already become a landmark.
The complex is designed in layers. It is asymmetric, like a series of shapes with different volumes covered by the same skin, which unifies the entire complex,referring to the wall formed by five different types of glass which covers both the tower and the remaining buildings.
